This 20-hour hybrid course prepares and certifies participants to provide services and supports as an I-SWIS Facilitator to local schools interested in implementation of the Tier 3 component of SWIS or Individual School-Wide Information System (I-SWIS).
I-SWIS is a decision system for students receiving more intensive supports for academic, social, or mental health services.
This 20-hour hybrid course prepares and certifies participants to provide services and supports as an I-SWIS Facilitator to local schools interested in implementation of the Tier 3 component of SWIS or Individual School-Wide Information System (I-SWIS) including I-SWIS installation (e.g., readiness & licensing), user training, team coaching, and ongoing technical assistance with case management, data collection, and use of I-SWIS data for decision making.

For this training you will be asked to complete online modules independently, as well as attend several synchronous, instructor-led virtual meetings.
Note: Attendance at each synchronous session is required for certification.
Several online modules will be required to be completed prior to the synchronous session via Zoom. They will take approximately 3 hours to complete and will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks prior to the first synchronous Zoom session.
