School-Wide Information System (SWIS) Overview

In this 60-minute webinar, we will provide participants with a detailed overview of the SWIS application from PBISApps.

Description

SWIS is a web-based decision making system that allows for entry of behavior and discipline referrals. The application provides an efficient and effective way to capture behavior incident data, which can then be summarized and analyzed by school personnel to make decisions about educational environments. Within the application, factors related to behavior incidents (e.g., student, teacher, activity, behavior type, behavior motivation, and responses to the behavior) can be collected and examined. Additionally, the application offers an efficient way to analyze behavior incidents related to race, ethnicity, IEP status, gender, and dual language learners, which can help identify potential equity issues within the program. Within this session, the SWIS application will be demonstrated and associated resources will be shared.
