School Climate Survey (SCS) and Feedback & Input Survey (FIS): Voices From Your School Community
This webinar will introduce participants to two sets of surveys within the PBIS Assessment, both aimed at engaging school community members about behavior supports and school climate.
Description
The School Climate Survey is a suite of five surveys to measure student, staff, and family perceptions of school climate. Each survey is a brief, valid, and reliable way to ask stakeholders how your school feels to them.
The Feedback and Input Survey Suite is a set of four surveys for school teams to learn about how students, school personnel, and family members are experiencing the school’s behavior support systems and obtain detailed feedback for increasing the effectiveness, efficiency, equity, and sustainability of those systems.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Understand the purpose and use of each of the climate surveys in the School Climate Survey suite
- Understand the purpose and use of each of the surveys in the Feedback and Input Survey suite
- Administer the survey to school community members
- Input survey data into PBIS Assessment
- View survey reports within PBIS Assessment
- Analyze the survey data to support decision making and action planning
- Locate and differentiate between the different surveys
- Interpret survey results
